Good one. I’ve always thought there should be 2 criteria for getting a voter reg card:
1. Pass a simple, 8th grade civics test. (You should at least know the branches of gov’t, have a working knowledge of how the country runs, and understand a teeny smidge of economics – on an 8th grade level)
2. Own property of some kind (dwelling, car, land, etc)
There would be one exception: Military service. They vote no matter what. I wonder how many of the occupiers meet any of that.
